ABILITIES

Magecraft: “Tactical Formation Art” A bounded field specifically used by the Nemui family line. This magecraft is inspired by the Chinese Luopan (Geomantic Compass) and It involves mentally forming a divination circle and using only the techniques determined by the relative placement of other things on that circle. It was made by Hanabi Nemui during the first Sino-Japanese war to assist the Nemui clan despite its nature it was used in self defense during that war as the Nemui family was neutral at the time.It is heavily restricted by the user’s mana and lesser spell knowledge.Due to the size of the bounded field, and visibility it requires to be deactivated and reactivated at any time. The Nemui clan rank its members by how quickly they can put up the bounded field. (The most common time being upwards of 18 seconds for a sloppy activation, yet some prodigies are capable of doing so in under 10.)
Variants:
Applied to Self (Offense):
Tactical Formation Art: Gate of the Fang (攻門): The original bounded field created by the first user Hineru Nemui the first. This bounded field prioritizes offensive magus, allowing them to respond depending on what is in the radius of the bounded field."Fang" (Attack Gate) is a term used in ancient Chinese military manuals. It signifies a point where force is most easily projected from within the formation. This form aligns your circle outward, optimizing the best techniques based on where the enemy is relative to your center.Think high-speed technique switching and sudden pattern shifts.Applied to Opponent (Defense):
Tactical Formation Art: Gate of the Shell (守門): Created by Hineru Nemui the second during the end of the second Sino-Japanese war due to her pacifistic nature, mostly filled with defensive spells that protect the user."Shell" implies protection and containment, like a tortoise shell—a feng shui symbol. The Bounded Field locks into a defensive posture, allowing the user who applied the bounded field onto another to respond to various different situations.Ideal for duels or suppressing unknown attackers.Rotating/Adaptive (Balance):
Tactical Formation Art: Turning Gate (轉門): Created by Hineru Nemui, this variation of the Tactical Formation Art revolves around both defensive and offensive usage due to its ability to rotate and change it’s listed spells and can only be placed on the user as of now.“Turning” signifies the wheel-like movement of the luopan. This version continuously recalibrates between attack and defense gates, creating a flowing martial style that balances initiative and reaction.Other Ability: (Pure eyes) are the Psychic ability to see what can’t normally be seen. Inherited from his father, Hineru’s pure eyes allow him to see the world differently than others. Allowing Hineru to see He sees people not by aura or soul, but by what the world will not acknowledge about them—their regrets, their erased decisions, their suppressed truths and even their magic circuits. If pushed too far, his sense of self begins to flicker, due to him seeing too much at once. These effects aren’t permanent but due to this he wears glasses which help his impaired eyesight allowing him to see people as blurs. In an easier to explain way; Hineru watches people’s lives like a movie and is even able to peek into what could’ve happened if they took a different road, as for servants this includes alters or different variations (For example: He would be able to see artoria’s history, including her Alter and what would happen if she were a tyrant, as well as her lancer variant.)Mystic Codes: None
BACKSTORY

Nemui Clan Backstory: Hanabi Nemui, was born into a fading magus family known for minor dream-related magecraft. To restore their standing, her family arranged a political marriage, but Hanabi, unwilling to be a pawn, fled to the remote north of Japan. While in hiding, she accidentally became involved in a secret, undocumented Holy Grail War—one unknown to the Mage’s Association. Forced into the conflict as a Master, she survived against overwhelming odds and eventually allied with Rukia Onigahime, heir to a mysterious oni-blooded magus clan. After winning the war, Hanabi chose to give the Grail to Rukia, who used her wish to bind the Nemui and Onigahime families together forever. From that moment on, every Onigahime would be spiritually linked to a Nemui, sworn to protect them across generations tying the births of the Nemui clan to the Onigahime clan forever.Hineru Backstory:Hineru Nemui, was raised in a smaller branch of the Nemui family alongside Reiko Onigahime, his designated bodyguard. His father, an esper as well as a Kannushi helping others with his pure eyes and his mother, a magus both met in the countryside of Japan.During his time growing up, he could find himself functioning in modern society even outside of the world of mage so much so that his family offered him to be the head of the Nemui clan at an early age. Yet due to his lack of motivation and ambition he found himself unable to fit into society. Causing an outrage in his family to hear that he wished to become a taoist in the Wudang Sect with other mages like himself wanting to see it as a learning experience alongside Reiko who would support him in this decision.Hineru quickly found himself among his own kind after joining Wudang Sect and was content being an Outcast living in seclusion in Wudang Mountain. Being a disciple of the Wudang Sect, Wang Ye was taught everything that's standard for a Wudang Sect Disciple. Taoism scriptures, performing traditional Taoist Priest Rituals, customs etc... Wudang Martial Arts, though Hineru only shows extremely high skill in Taichi, he was described that before Hineru accidentally caught the glimpse and learned Fūkōkimon (Fūkō Qimen) from his Disciple Grand Uncle, his skills is only on upper average range in Wudang Sect.During his training there in China, he would learn from his teacher and Disciple Grand Uncle Lei Wu-long, who entrusted his Philosophy key to Heihachi during his untimely death. This philosophy key became the key to Hineru’s improvement on the Tactical formation art that his family was known for. Locking the Philosophy inside of this bounded field allowed it to memorize all known techniques he could access due to this. Which caused it to turn and shift around much like a moving Luopan, giving him seemingly infinite (although not truly infinite) different spells to use for whatever occasion. When returning back home, he would find himself shunned from the family for leaving them, causing them to never find out about the improvements to the Tactical Formation Art. He would move to Fuyuki where he would start a manga cafe alongside Reiko who he considers a good friend who has supported him to the end.
